Azerbaijan, EU to hold security dialogue in Baku

Azerbaijan and the European Union will hold the seventh round of their Security Dialogue in Baku next week, EU Ambassador to Azerbaijan Marijana Kujundžić said.

Speaking at an event marking Europe Day, Kujundžić said the meeting would be “another important milestone” in the partnership between Baku and Brussels.

She also said the sides would begin talks in 2026 on a new agreement on partnership priorities, which she said should provide a modern framework for cooperation in clean energy, trade, economic diversification and people-to-people contacts.
