Pashinyan says peace deal with Azerbaijan should be signed

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said the border with Turkey should be reopened and a peace agreement with Azerbaijan should be signed.

Pashinyan made the remarks while addressing supporters after the election.

He said Armenia should continue its policy of normalising relations with its neighbours in order to ensure long-term stability and development in the region.

Pashinyan stressed that reopening the border with Turkey and signing a peace agreement with Azerbaijan are essential for the country’s future.
