Pashinyan says there will be no war
Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said there would be no war as long as his government consistently pursued its peace agenda.
“As long as we consistently continue the peace agenda and support it with all possible means, there will be no war; there will be peace,” Pashinyan said.
The remarks came after parliamentary elections in which Pashinyan’s Civil Contract party retained a parliamentary majority.
Throughout the election campaign, the Armenian leader stressed the importance of maintaining a peace-oriented policy and normalizing relations with neighboring countries.
