A draft law on Azerbaijan’s accession to the International Convention for the Control and Management of Ships’ Ballast Water and Sediments was included on the agenda of the Milli Majlis committee on international relations and interparliamentary ties for its July 6 online meeting.

The convention sets rules for managing ships’ ballast water and reducing the risk of spreading harmful aquatic organisms through maritime transport.
