Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan launch joint military drills
Armed forces personnel from Azerbaijan, Turkey, and Uzbekistan are set to conduct the trilateral "Power of Unity – 2026" military exercises across Azerbaijani territory, the Defense Ministry announced. The three-phase maneuvers will take place at the Gizilgaya Training Center in the Karabakh economic region, the Garabaglar Center in the Nakhchivan Autonomous Republic, and the Boyuk Zira maritime zone in the Caspian Sea.
Deploying combat vehicles, naval assets, aircraft, and unmanned aerial vehicles, the drills aim to enhance joint operational coordination and standardize combat procedures. Turkish Armed Forces personnel and aviation assets have arrived in the country ahead of field deployments.
