US Army awards $10.6m contract for Raybird reconnaissance drones

The US Army has awarded a $10.64 million contract to the American subsidiary of Ukraine-based Skyeton for the procurement of Raybird reconnaissance unmanned aerial systems, the Pentagon announced.

The contract is slated for completion by December 15, 2026, with work locations and tranche-specific funding to be determined with each respective delivery order. The US military has not disclosed the total number of drone systems ordered, designated recipient units, or specific onboard sensor payloads.
