French president to visit Azerbaijan

French President Francois Hollande will visit Azerbaijan on May 11-12, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier said at a press conference on Friday.

"We are working on the visit of the President of France to Azerbaijan. As part of his trip to the region, the French president will also visit Georgia and Armenia," said Meunier at the press conference held in Baku, the capital of Azerbaijan. 

The main purpose of President Hollande's visit to Azerbaijan will be to improve bilateral relations. A number of cooperation agreements are also expected to be signed during the visit, according to Meunier.
