Five more Azeri deaths reported in Syria

Five more Azerbaijani nationals have been killed in the Syrian civil war, APA news service said, citing rebel sources.

Four of them were from the town of Sumqayit, 20 km north of the Azerbaijani capital, Baku.

The rebel sources identified the dead as Hanzala Sumqayitli, Abdul Vahid Sumqayitli, Abu Davud Sumqayitli and Abdu Razzak.

Rebels also published photos of the dead.

More than 20 Azerbaijani nationals have been killed in Syria in the past two months. Most of them were members of the country’s small Salafi community.
