Azerbaijan envoy inaugurates waiting rooms at KEF

An inauguration ceremony of male/female waiting rooms – constructed by Heydar Aliyev Foundation which is led by First Lady of Azerbaijan Mehriban Aliyeva – at Khyber Eye Foundation in Peshawar took place on Tuesday.Speaking at the ceremony, Ambassador of Azerbaijan Dashgin Shikarov impressed on the ties and shared values of two nations that bring people of Azerbaijan and Pakistan together. The ambassador briefed participants of the event on activities of Heydar Aliyev Foundation in Azerbaijan and other countries of the world. He noted that the foundation had implemented number of healthcare, education and humanitarian projects in all districts of Pakistan as well.Addressing audience, the chairman of Khyber Eye Foundation, Haji Muhammad Haleem Jan, thanked the first lady and people of Azerbaijan for standing hand in hand with the people of Pakistan. He also talked about activity of the foundation and the future plans of the institution.Senator Haji Ghulam Ali, in his speech, spoke about unique cordial relations that exist between Pakistan and Azerbaijan and shed light on cooperation which is covering all walks of life.After the ceremonial inauguration of the newly constructed waiting rooms, Ambassador Shikarov gifted pharmaceutical drugs and donated funds to Khyber eye Foundation on behalf of Heydar Aliyev Foundation.
