ANS declares Aliyev “Man of the Year” – for second time

The ANS Group of Companies and the Cingiz Mustafayev Foundation declared President Ilham Aliyev “Man of the Year” - for a second time.

The privately owned broadcaster credited Aliyev with a number of achievements Azerbaijan made in 2013, including the country’s chairmanship of the UN Security Council, the development of a space industry, the signing of $45 billion contracts to pipe Shah Deniz gas to Europe, among others.

ANS first decorated Aliyev with the title in 2004.
