Aliyev visits Vilnius to join Eastern Partnership summit

President Ilham Aliyev todayarrived in the Lithuanian capital, Vilnius, to attend a summit of the EuropeanUnion’s Eastern Partnership program.

Lithuanian officialswelcomed Aliyev at the Vilnius airport, Azeri state news agency Azartac said.

Aliyev is expected to signan agreement on the simplification of the visa regime with EU countries on Nov. 29.
