Iran protests expulsion of embassy official in Baku

Iran issueda note of protest after Azeri security services detained and expelled anIranian embassy official in Baku.

AhmadAhmadzadeh, head of the finance department at the Iranian embassy’s culturecenter, had “problems with visa”, according to the embassy.

Ahmadzadehwas detained for three hours and told to leave the country within 48 hours,Iran’s Fars news agency said earlier.
