SOCAR’s investment in Turkey to exceed $18bn

SOCAR’s investments in Turkey will exceed $18bn, SOCAR President Rovnag Abdullayev told Anadolu Agency.

"These investments indicate our confidence in Turkey. We understand Turkey’s becoming an energy bridge in a short time. We are proud of such progress in Turkey”, Abdullayev said.

Abdullayev noted that 80% works have been completed in STAR oil refinery in which SOCAR has invested $3.7 billion so far: "I think the refinery will be launched in 2018”.
