Mevlut Cavusoglu: Armenia will not achieve anything
17.11.2021 16:52
Armenia will not gain anything with this behavior, on the contrary, it will lose, Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu said at a joint press conference with his Bahraini counterpart Abdullatif bin Rashid Al Zayani.

"May Allah rest the souls of all our martyrs. Azerbaijan reclaimed the lands occupied for nearly 30 years in 44 days. In this way, the state showed the strength and determination of the Turks. Azerbaijan is not alone and will not be. Let's look at the steps taken by Azerbaijan, which took back its lands. They are currently implementing significant projects. Azerbaijan offers Armenia a comprehensive peace agreement. The winner offers the loser to sign a peace agreement to avoid another conflict. Armenia ignores and attacks Azerbaijan. They are carrying out a terrorist attack on Azerbaijani land," Turkish FM said.

Cavusoglu stressed that Armenia continues provocations on the border with Azerbaijan: "There is a grave difference between these two approaches. It will give no result to Armenia. We want to cooperate for the stability of the region. While we say this, Armenia does not accept it and does not say what it wants in return. These were the lands of Azerbaijan, and it liberated those territories from occupation. Armenia will not succeed with such provocations, it will only lose. On the one hand, Armenia, which is begging for the release of prisoners, is trying to put the international community in a difficult situation. On the other hand, it is attacking the Azerbaijani military. They are our brothers too."
