Azerbaijani parliament speaker arrives in Russia

The parliamentary delegation led by Chair of the Milli Majlis (Parliament) Sahiba Gafarova arrived in the Russian Federation on November 24 to take part in a meeting of the Council of the CIS IPA and the 53rd plenary session of the Assembly, reported from the official website of the parliament.

The delegation of the Azerbaijani parliament was welcomed at the Pulkovo Airport of St. Petersburg by the CIS IPA Council’s Secretary-General Dmitry Kobitsky, Azerbaijan’s Consul General in St. Petersburg Sultan Gasimov, and other officials.


Tomorrow, the Speaker of the Parliament, Sahiba Gafarova, is going to speak at the meeting of the Council of the CIS IPA, as well as at the international conference due to take place within the IPA frameworks. Besides, the SpeakerSpeaker is planned to meet with the leaders of the attending delegations.
