US Embassy welcomes Azerbaijan's release of 10 more Armenian servicemen

The US Embassy in Azerbaijan welcomes the transfer of 10 more servicemen by Azerbaijan to Armenia.

"We welcome Azerbaijan's release of 10 Armenian detainees on December 19 with EU support," the US Embassy in Azerbaijan said on Twitter.

On December 19, Azerbaijan, through the mediation of the European Union, handed over to the Armenian side 10 servicemen of Armenian origin who were detained on November 16, 2021 while preventing a provocation by the Armenian armed forces in the direction of Kalbajar.
