Aliyev meets UK premier's trade envoy in Baku

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev received a delegation led by Lord Risby, the British prime minister's trade envoy and a member of the House of Lords.

Aliyev and Risby expressed their satisfaction with the level of Azerbaijani-British ties, according to state news agency Azartac. It was noted that these relations were expanding and had good prospects.

The sides emphasized the importance of inter-parliamentary cooperation for further expansion of ties.

Aliyev and Risby also discussed a wide range of issues of mutual interest, Azartac said.
