"Energy remains the central pillar of Azerbaijan-EU partnership,” Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov said at the press conference on the results of the 18th meeting of the Azerbaijan-European Union Cooperation Council held in Brussels.

"Our energy partnership was further strengthened by yesterday's new Memorandum of Understanding signed by President Ilham Aliyev and President von der Leyen. We are developing our strategic partnership through the Southern Gas Corridor, the largest infrastructure and energy project in Europe, with the aim of bringing alternative gas volumes to the European markets,” the head of MFA said.

"Implementation of the Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria is an indicator of SGC diversification.”
