SOCAR Türkiye donates funds within Türkiye One Heart campaign

SOCAR Türkiye, a subsidiary of the Azerbaijan State Oil Company, donated 3.5 million Turkish liras (over $185,000) as part of the Türkiye One Heart campaign.

Mikayil Yusifov, the Head of the Communications and Public Relations Department of SOCAR Türkiye, who spoke during a joint live broadcast initiated by the TV channels of Azerbaijan, Türkiye and Northern Cyprus, said that the scale of the tragedy is too great to be expressed in words. The SOCAR representative once again reminded that Türkiye and Azerbaijan are two states, one nation.

During the broadcast, an appeal was made to the world community to make donations to help in the aftermath of the earthquake in Türkiye. The collected funds are transferred to the accounts of the Turkish disaster management authority, AFAD, and the Turkish Red Crescent Society.
