Rachel Avraham: Opening of embassy to strengthen Azerbaijan-Israel co-op

The opening of the embassy will further strengthen the cooperation between Azerbaijan and Israel, Editor of the Israeli Economic Peace Center, political analyst Rachel Avraham said.

She noted that the opening of the Azerbaijani embassy in Tel Aviv is a great success.

Azerbaijan is one of Israel’s main allies, and this country provides 40% of Israel’s demand for oil, Avraham reminded.

She also noted that Azerbaijan and Israel are cooperating in order to counter the Iranian threat.

On March 29, the opening ceremony of the Azerbaijani embassy in Israel took place in Tel Aviv. The event was attended by foreign ministers of Azerbaijan and Israel Jeyhun Bayramov and Eli Cohen, as well as representatives of the parliaments and the public of both countries.
