Azerbaijan, Italy mull military, energy and security issues

Defense, energy, security and other areas were discussed between Italy and Azerbaijan, as the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Italy, Guido Crosetto, received the Ambassador of the Republic of Azerbaijan to the country, Rashad Aslanov, the Italian MoD wrote on Twitter.

The meeting discussed the issues of mutual interest, including defense, energy, and security in the regional context, as well as the strengthening of military, industrial, and political relations between the two countries.

Ambassador Aslanov said on Twitter that he had the honor of meeting with the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Italy and thanked Guido Crosetto.

"I would like to thank the minister for the warm reception and the sincere exchange of views on extensive bilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy,” he tweeted.
