State Department: US believes in possibility of establishing lasting peace between Baku and Yerevan

The US believes in the possibility of establishing lasting peace between Baku and Yerevan, Principal Deputy Spokesperson for the US State Department Vedant Patel said at a briefing.

"There continues to be – we continue to believe that a durable peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan is possible. It’s something that the department will continue to work towards. Obviously, Coordinator Bono, the Secretary, and others continue to be deeply engaged on this,” he noted.
