Israeli ambassador's wife leads charity event in Baku

The wife of the Israeli Ambassador to Azerbaijan, Anna Deek, led a campaign to donate clothes, toys, shoes and household items to the Təmiz Dünya shelter for women and children subjected to domestic violence, reported from the Israeli Embassy in Azerbaijan.

The initiative builds on the diplomatic mission's long-standing relationship with the shelter.

"On these cherished holidays - Novruz, Ramadan and the upcoming Jewish Passover - we once again remember the strong friendship between Israel and Azerbaijan. This friendship is defined by solidarity in difficult times. We believe that initiatives like these contribute to improving relations between our peoples as we persist in our efforts to promote friendship, tolerance and a better future for all,” the embassy stated.
