Ukraine invites Azerbaijan to take part in peace summit

Ukraine has invited Azerbaijan to take part in the upcoming peace summit (June 2024 Ukraine peace conference), which is planned to be held in Switzerland. Kyiv also invited Baku to join the peace formula, Deputy Chair of the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) Olena Kondratiuk said on her Facebook page.
According to her, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov confirmed that Baku will actively participate in the international conference on the restoration of Ukraine. It will take place in Berlin in June this year.
"On behalf of Ukraine, I also invited Azerbaijan to take part in the peace summit in Switzerland and to join one or more points of President Zelenskyy’s Ukrainian peace formula. For example, on issues of energy security or mine clearance,” she wrote.
