Latvia ready to assist restoration of Azerbaijan's liberated territories, parliament speaker says

There are many opportunities for deepening economic cooperation between Latvia and Azerbaijan, Speaker of the Latvian Parliament Daiga Mieriņa said during a press conference in Baku.

According to the information , the speaker emphasized that various possibilities for expanding economic cooperation between Latvia and Azerbaijan were discussed during her visit.

She noted that specific steps on how Latvia could participate in the restoration of the city of Shusha or otherwise help in the restoration of the region were considered.

Acccording to Mieriņa, the discussed issues included the potential cooperation in the fields of agriculture, logistics, tourism, exchange, education and culture.
