Azerbaijan-Italy security co-op discussed

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov has met with Italian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation Antonio Tajani as part of his participation in the high-level week of the 79th session of the UN General Assembly.

"Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov and Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the Republic of Italy Antonio Tajani met within the framework of the UNGA79 to discuss prospects of strengthening bilateral and multilateral cooperation between Azerbaijan and Italy in political, economic, trade, security, and energy fields. The sides also exchanged views on potential areas of cooperation that will be made possible within COP29 Azerbaijan presidency, and reconstruction efforts in the liberated territories," the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry wrote on X.
