Grossi: Azerbaijan can count on IAEA support in many areas

Azerbaijan can count on the support of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) in promoting priorities in the areas of healthcare, agriculture and environmental protection, IAEA Director General Rafael Grossi wrote on X, commenting on a meeting with the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Azerbaijan Jeyhun Bayramov.

"Signed new Country Programme Framework with Azerbaijan's Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov at the UNGA. Azerbaijan can continue counting on the IAEA to advance priorities in health, agriculture, environment, and more. Looking forward to furthering our work and highlighting nuclear’s role in the NetZero at the COP29," he wrote.
