Putin: Border delimitation is the right path to Armenia-Azerbaijan peace treaty

The process of demarcating and delimiting the borders between Armenia and Azerbaijan is the correct path towards a peace treaty, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during an expanded Outreach/BRICS+ meeting, reported from TASS.

"It is very pleasant to note that the process of demarcation and delimitation of borders has begun. This is indeed the right path to a peace treaty," Putin said, following remarks by Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan.

Pashinyan informed the meeting that Armenia and Azerbaijan could accelerate the border delimitation process once the regulations for the operation of the commissions are ratified.
