Bayramov briefs UAE counterpart on South Caucasus post-conflict issues

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, on a working visit to the United Arab Emirates, met with his UAE counterpart Sheikh Abdullah Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry said on X.

The ministers discussed bilateral and multilateral ties, focusing on trade, energy, the economy, and regional and global developments. Both sides expressed readiness to expand cooperation in mutually beneficial areas.

Bayramov also briefed his counterpart on the post-conflict situation in the South Caucasus, including reconstruction, demining efforts, and the normalization process with Armenia. He highlighted the remaining challenges, such as Armenia’s constitutional territorial claims.
