Azerbaijan, Israel FMs discuss ties and South Caucasus peace process in UAE

Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with his Israeli counterpart Gideon Saar in Abu Dhabi to discuss bilateral cooperation and regional developments, Azerbaijan’s Foreign Ministry said on Tuesday.

The ministers discussed economic, trade, energy, high-tech, and defense cooperation, along with other areas of mutual interest. They also exchanged views on regional and global security issues, including the situation in the Middle East.

Bayramov later wrote on X that he had briefed Saar on post-conflict reconstruction efforts in the South Caucasus, the peace process between Azerbaijan and Armenia, and the remaining challenges to normalization.
