UAE president calls Azerbaijan’s Aliyev to discuss bilateral ties

President of the United Arab Emirates Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev on Thursday, according to the official website of the Azerbaijani presidency.

During the call, both leaders expressed satisfaction with the discussions held during President Aliyev’s recent visit to Abu Dhabi. They noted the successful development of bilateral relations based on mutual trust and friendship.

The two presidents highlighted the continued expansion of trade and economic cooperation, supported by active political dialogue and reciprocal delegation visits across various sectors.

They also exchanged views on bilateral issues and the regional agenda.
