Turkmen leader Berdymukhamedov arrives in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli, welcomed by President Aliyev

Chairman of the People's Council of Turkmenistan, Gurbanguly Berdymukhamedov, arrived in Azerbaijan’s Fuzuli district on Thursday as part of his official visit to the country.

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev welcomed Berdymukhamedov at Fuzuli International Airport, where a ceremonial guard of honor was held in his honor.

During the visit, the Turkmen delegation was briefed on the construction and strategic importance of three international airports – Fuzuli, Zangilan, and Lachin – built in territories recently liberated by Azerbaijan.
