Russia’s TASS deputy chief dismissed after attending Azerbaijan media forum

Mikhail Gusman has been dismissed as First Deputy Director General of Russia’s state news agency TASS, just days after he participated in the Global Media Forum in Azerbaijan.

Gusman, 75, spent nearly three decades at TASS. He is known for hosting the TV program “Formula of Power” and holds Russian state titles for distinguished service in journalism and culture.
