Azerbaijan envoy presents credentials to Dominican Republic president

Azerbaijan’s ambassador to the Dominican Republic, Ruslan Rzayev, presented his credentials to President Luis Abinader on Wednesday, the Azerbaijani foreign ministry said.

During the meeting, Rzayev conveyed greetings from Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, which Abinader reciprocated, asking that his regards be passed to Aliyev.

The sides discussed prospects for developing ties in various fields, stressed the importance of continued cooperation within international organisations and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest, the ministry said.
