Darnagul station opens on Absheron circular railway line

The Darnagul station on the Absheron circular railway line has been put into operation, local media reported.

Commuter trains began stopping at the new station from the morning of May 8.

The project was implemented as part of the 2025–2030 state programme aimed at improving transport infrastructure in Baku and surrounding areas.

Authorities said the opening of the station was intended to improve passenger transportation services in the capital.
