Explosion at Azeri opposition HQ: no-one hurt

An explosion ripped through the basement of a two-story building in Baku’s Narimanov district rented by the opposition People’s Front of Azerbaijan Party overnight.

The blast caused fire in the 20 square-meter basement area, which was extinguished, police said. No-one was injured.

One of the rooms used by the party as a conference hall was slightly damaged. 

The cause of the explosion has yet to be established.
