Fire destroys 8 tons of cotton in Azerbaijan’s Barda District

A cotton processing plant has caught fire in Azerbaijan’s Barda District, APA news agency said.The fire destroyed 8 tons of cotton, the agency said, citing the Ministry of Emergencies.Fire-fighters from Barda and the neighboring districts of Agdam, Tartar and Yevlax were mobilized to extinguish the fire, it said.There has been no immediate estimate of the damage inflicted by the fire. 

An investigation was started to find out the cause of the incident.
