Aliyev, Lukashenko attend opening of new Belarusian embassy building in Baku

Azeri President Ilham Aliyev and hisBelarusian counterpart, Aleksandr Lukashenko, yesterday attended the opening ofa new building of the Belarusian embassy in Baku.

Construction of the four-storeybuilding started in 2010, according to Azerbaijan’s state news agency Azartac.

 

Aliyev and Lukashenko toured the new building,which will house the embassy staff and the consulate, and planted trees outsidethe building.

 

Lukashenko arrived in Baku onNovember 20 for a two-day visit.
