Gold price increases about $2

The U.S. Dow Jones stock index fell by 2.33% to 24,912.77 points, S&P 500 by 1.74% to 2,695.14 points and NASDAQ by 2.3% to 7,115.88 points.
 
In the European stock markets, FTSE 100 index decreased by 2.64% to 7,141.40 points, Germany’s DAX by 2.32% to 12,392.66, French CAC 40 by 2.35% to 5,161.81, APA-Economics reported.
 
At the latest COMEX auctions, gold prices ascended $2.20 to $1,331.70 an ounce and silver prices increased by $0.10 to $16.68.
