Trade turnover between Azerbaijan and US increases for the first time

In January-May of the current year trade turnover volume between Azerbaijan and US has been $392 685,87 thousand, which is more than 1,1% in comparison to the same period of the last year, ONA reports citing The State Customs Committee.

The volume of export from Azerbaijan to the US during the reporting period has decreased by 25,4 times in comparison to the same period of the last year and stand at $7 940,55, thousand while import has increased 2,1 times and stand at $384 745,32 thousand.

In January-May of the current year, the negative trade balance with the amount of $ 376,804,77 thousand occurred which is 2 times more than in the same period last year.
