CSTO no longer a security factor for Armenia, says parliament vice speaker
The Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) is no longer a factor ensuring Armenia's security, declared Ruben Rubinyan, Vice Speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, during an interview with Public Television.
"Consequently, an absent factor cannot be automatically substituted by another factor," Rubinyan stated.
He pointed out that the government's strategy for addressing security vulnerabilities relies on diversifying its defense and political partnerships. Rubinyan added that the primary security gap originally stemmed from the absence of peace with Azerbaijan.
