Azerbaijan weather: Baku up to 32°C, thunderstorms in regions
On August 15, Baku and the Absheron Peninsula will experience partly cloudy skies with mostly dry conditions, according to the National Hydrometeorological Service. However, brief morning showers may develop in isolated parts of the peninsula. A moderate northwest wind will strengthen intermittently during daytime hours.
Temperatures on the Absheron Peninsula are forecast at 22–25°C at night and 29–32°C during the day. Atmospheric pressure will stand at 759 mm Hg, with relative humidity ranging between 70–75% at night and 50–55% during daylight.
In various regions of Azerbaijan, intermittent showers, lightning, and hail are expected, with precipitation turning locally intense across mountainous and foothill districts, particularly overnight and in the early morning. Fog may develop across upland areas at night and dawn. A moderate easterly wind will prevail.
Regional temperatures will range between 22–26°C at night and 32–37°C during the day, while mountainous areas will see lows of 12–17°C and highs of 20–25°C.
