Armenia, EU pledge to counter circumvention of Russia sanctions

Armenia and the European Union have pledged to cooperate in preventing the circumvention of EU sanctions against Russia, according to a joint statement issued after the first Armenia-EU summit in Yerevan.

The statement said the sides would step up joint efforts to monitor, restrict and control trade and re-exports of dual-use goods and sensitive military equipment.

The declaration consisted of 44 points.
