Ukrainian forces say they hit eight Russian tankers in Sea of Azov
Robert Brovdi, commander of Ukraine’s Unmanned Systems Forces, said Ukrainian drones struck eight tankers of Russia’s “shadow fleet” in the Sea of Azov overnight on July 7. He said the vessels were carrying fuel to Crimea.
Brovdi said a dry cargo vessel and a ferry were also hit. He said all the tankers had been identified, were under international sanctions and each had a deadweight of around 7,000 tonnes.
He also said Ukrainian units struck 58 targets in temporarily occupied territories overnight.
